Are you an experienced data professional who thrives on helping teams navigate change? Have you played a key role in one or more charity data migration projects?

Charity People are working with a charity who is embarking on a major digital transformation project to replace their finance system and fundraising CRM, to bring supporter data together in a more effective and efficient way. To support this work, the organisation is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead and advise project teams and take responsibility for key areas including data migration, data strategy, and governance. Someone who can guide people through change, help them understand the importance of good data, and bring shape and structure to decisions that will influence how the organisation works for years to come.

Collaboration will be key. You will work closely with the Strategic Transformation Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Protection Officer, Data Manager and a variety of internal and external partners.

You will be organised, thoughtful and calm under pressure. Someone who enjoys solving complex problems, who can plan, and who approaches challenges with a solutions‑focused mindset. A strong understanding of Data Protection is essential, and experience with systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Business Central, Raisers Edge 7 or Exchequer would be helpful, though not required. A BCS Practitioner Certificate in Data Management is essential.

This is a role for someone who believes in the power of data to transform how a charity works, communicates, and fundraises. Someone who sees data not just as a technical discipline, but as a tool for creating clarity, efficiency, and long term impact.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a Supporter Data Strategy that enables alignment across teams

• Lead change management work to transition data structures and processes

• Define core data sets, data standards, and migration processes to improve quality and efficiency

• Lead decision making around data cleansing during migration and ongoing maintenance

• Define data ownership structures and assign roles and responsibilities for Data Owners

Deliver end-to-end data migration for the new finance system and CRM, including – data auditing, volume management, cleansing, data retention and mapping.

• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Work collaboratively with the Strategic Transformation Project Manager, Business Analyst, and internal and external partners to identify risks, opportunities and dependencies

You will bring:

• Adaptability and a flexible approach to changing priorities

• Experience in a strategic or technical data role within at least one CRM migration or digital transformation project

• Experience migrating to Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central is desirable

• Experience with Raisers Edge 7 or Exchequer is helpful but not essential

About the Role

The Operations Administrator plays a central role in supporting Overseas Missions and International Patient Transfer Programme activity. This position requires a proactive, highly organised individual who can directly support Senior Coordinators and the wider team with complex logistics, maintain operational systems, and coordinate with volunteers, clinical teams, and external partners.

The role involves significant support for travel coordination, visa processes, safeguarding compliance, and operational administration, with occasional out-of-hours support.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Mission Support

Provide administrative support with the coordination of operational logistics for overseas missions, including maintaining mission checklists, tracking deadlines, and supporting planning meetings.
Support the arrangement of travel, accommodation, visas, and indemnity cover for staff, volunteers, patients, and escorts, following Purchase Order procedures.
Prepare and submit visa applications for volunteers, patients, guardians, and medical escorts, ensuring documentation is complete and timely.
Prepare pre mission documentation to include mission packs and itineraries.
Support the procurement, acceptance and packaging process of medical hardware and disposables.
Log and file patient data post missions.
Support post-mission reviews by collating feedback and contributing to briefings and debriefs.

Volunteer & Safeguarding Administration

Support administrative management of volunteer databases, files, and registration records.
Track safeguarding, DBS, and compliance requirements and liaise with volunteers to ensure standards are met.
Support volunteer communications, including fundraising-related updates and mission information.

Patient Transfer & ICRP Support

Support international patient transfers by coordinating flights, medical clearances, special travel requirements, and transfer documentation.
Assist with on-ground logistics for patients, guardians, and medical escorts, including accommodation and transport.
Participate in the out-of-hours duty rota for patient transfers where required.

Systems, Finance & Administration

Support administrative maintenance of operational and patient databases, ensuring accurate record-keeping and secure document storage.
Support digitisation of physical records and continuous improvement of administrative systems.
Support Purchase Orders requests and organise invoices, receipts, and approvals where appropriate.
Provide general operational and administrative support across the department as needed.

Meetings & Coordination

Attend and support Operations and ICRP meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and follow-up actions.
Coordinate Committee and clinical assessments and meetings and processes as required.

An undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will provide accurate and timely financial management and reporting, ensuring sound financial control, analysis, and statutory compliance. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Management & Statutory Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts, complete statutory returns (VAT, Companies House, FCA), and support annual audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with annual budgets, reforecasts, cashflow statements, and ad hoc financial projections.
Business Partnering: Provide financial insights to management and project leads, supporting decision-making and project reporting.
Supervision: Manage and support the Finance Officer, ensuring professional development and alignment with departmental goals.

About You

Essential:

Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
Strong experience in management accounts preparation, including reconciliation and reporting.
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks & Xero).
Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in budget management and resource optimisation.
Confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
Advanced IT proficiency, including Excel.
Experience in charity or not-for-profit accounting for grants.
