Internal Communications & Engagement Officer

Temporary, until the end of March

Pay: £16.02 - £18.69 PAYE per hour, plus holiday pay per hour (£30K_£35K FTE)

Full-time (36 hours). Can consider a 4-day week if required

Hybrid – 3 days in the London office, 2 days at home

ASAP, start week commencing 9th February

 

We are delighted to be partnering with a brilliant health charity who are looking for an experienced Internal Communications & Engagement Officer to join them at a busy period.  You will be joining a warm and collaborative Communications and Fundraising team, reporting to the Head of Communications & Marketing .  This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident communicator who can hit the ground running and help deliver high quality internal communications during a busy and exciting period of change.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, clear, and timely internal communications across the organisation
  • Build strong working relationships with staff and stakeholders at all levels
  • Support and help drive the rollout of a new intranet, and contribute to the organisation’s move towards SharePoint
  • Work closely with project leads on multiple fast‑moving communications projects
  • Produce high‑quality written content for internal channels and campaigns
  • Help maintain consistent messaging and employee engagement during tight timelines
  • Act as a trusted contact point for internal stakeholders needing comms support

 

You will bring:

Strong writing and communication skills

Able to quickly build rapport and manage internal relationships

Experience in delivering internal communications

Comfortable working at pace with multiple projects

Ideally familiar with the health charity sector

Ideally experienced with SharePoint or intranet launches

 

A Basic DBS will be required once in the role. Ideally you will start next week, but it might be ok to start the following week if required.
