Fundraising Development Manager
2 month temporary contract
£24.72 to £26.37 PAYE per hour, plus holiday pay

Chairty People are seeking an experienced and proactive development specialist to support a charity’s foundations and institutional giving portfolio during a period of staff absence. This role provides essential capacity across bid development, prospect research, and coordination, helping to keep the fundraising pipeline moving and ensuring opportunities are not missed.

Reporting to the Head of Foundations and Institutional Giving, you will work closely with colleagues across the wider Development team and with project teams including governance, policy, finance, and communications. Key responsibilities:

Bid development and writing
Manage and support applications to trusts, foundations, and institutional funders
Coordinate internal input to produce high quality, tailored proposals
Support coordination, research tasks, and renewal submissions
Contribute to lower value bids, less complex applications, and straightforward grant renewals
Identify new funding opportunities and produce clear research outputs including briefings, longlists, and due diligence information
Support preparation for donor meetings and upcoming events
Assist with invitations, follow ups, and ensuring the right internal attendees are engaged
Provide administrative support across research and event coordination
Help deliver the fundraising strategy
Provide light project management and coordination to bring the right people into each bid at the right stage
Support an under-capacity team by maintaining core processes and relieving time pressure
Engage with a collaborative, supportive team environment with guidance from managers, grants and compliance colleagues, and project specialists

Role priorities:

Primary focus: bid and proposal development
Secondary focus: prospect research and funder intelligence
Additional support: strategy coordination and internal project management

Success in this role means active opportunities progress to a high standard, deadlines are met, and the team avoids turning down viable prospects. This role is well suited to someone who can quickly understand internal workflows, manage contributions, and keep processes running smoothly.

Foundation Partnerships Manager

Charity People are excited to be working in partnership with the fantastic team at The Barratt Redrow Foundation to find a brilliant Foundation Partnerships Manager. This role will lead in the delivery of their national charity partnerships programme, covering employee fundraising, volunteering and charitable projects across the business.

The Barratt Redrow Foundation launched in 2021 to draw together, professionalise and grow charitable giving at Barratt Redrow PLC. It is an independent UK registered charity solely funded by an annual donation from the PLC.
The Foundation supports good causes across the country and donates over £4m each year to make a difference in communities across the UK, including those where Barratt Redrow operate. They make an impact through national charity partnerships and a number of grantmaking programmes.
Since its launch in 2021, the Foundation has donated over £20m to more than 2,000 charities and delivers a portfolio of highly impactful national partnerships supporting over 100,000 young people each year.

Salary: £40,000-45,000
Location: London
Hybrid working: 2-3 days each week in the business, split between the London office, partners, Divisions, and home.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week

The Role
This is an exciting and hands‑on role for someone with extensive knowledge of corporate/charity partnerships who can deliver against the Foundation’s charitable strategy, maximising fundraising, volunteering, and communication objectives.

You will recruit and support colleagues to increase engagement, proactively build relationships across Divisions, and lead a range of projects spanning volunteering, fundraising, governance, and reporting. The role also involves producing compelling content and supporting the Foundation’s visibility across the business.


About You
You will be someone who can demonstrate:

• A minimum of three years’ experience managing corporate partnerships
• Experience delivering volunteering and fundraising activities
• A passion for creating social impact
• Confidence presenting to and involving senior stakeholders
• Strong organisation and project‑management skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a small, entrepreneurial team
• A commitment to delivering the Foundation’s five‑year strategy

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised Administrator to support the work of the Clinical Quality team across key committees, programmes and governance activities. This 12‑month fixed‑term contract offers the opportunity to contribute to national clinical quality initiatives in a professional and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality administrative support to the Clinical Quality cluster, including committees and working groups.
• Prepare, proofread and format documentation, reports and correspondence.

Internal Communications & Engagement Officer

We are delighted to be partnering with a brilliant health charity who are looking for an experienced Internal Communications & Engagement Officer to join them at a busy period.  You will be joining a warm and collaborative Communications and Fundraising team, reporting to the Head of Communications & Marketing .  This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident communicator who can hit the ground running and help deliver high quality internal communications during a busy and exciting period of change.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, clear, and timely internal communications across the organisation
• Build strong working relationships with staff and stakeholders at all levels
• Support and help drive the rollout of a new intranet, and contribute to the organisation’s move towards SharePoint
• Work closely with project leads on multiple fast‑moving communications projects
• Produce high‑quality written content for internal channels and campaigns
• Help maintain consistent messaging and employee engagement during tight timelines
• Act as a trusted contact point for internal stakeholders needing comms support

You will bring:

Strong writing and communication skills

Able to quickly build rapport and manage internal relationships

Experience in delivering internal communications

Comfortable working at pace with multiple projects

Ideally familiar with the health charity sector

Ideally experienced with SharePoint or intranet launches

A Basic DBS will be required once in the role. Ideally you will start next week, but it might be ok to start the following week if required.
