Job Description
Fundraising Administrator
Amref Health Africa UK
£28,120
Hybrid working, London office
We are delighted to partnering again with Amref Health Africa UK to help them find a Fundraising Administrator.
At Amref Health Africa UK, every donation processed, every supporter thanked and every record maintained ultimately helps improve access to healthcare across Africa. Behind every piece of data is a person who has chosen to support an incredibly important cause, and this role plays a vital part in making sure that supporter experience is the very best it can be.
They are looking for a Fundraising Administrator to join a friendly and collaborative team at an exciting point in the organisation's growth. It's a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in getting the detail right and genuinely enjoys helping people.
You'll be the first point of contact for supporters, responding to enquiries, processing donations, managing supporter records and ensuring donors receive a warm and positive experience whenever they interact with Amref.
You'll also work closely with colleagues across fundraising and finance, supporting Gift Aid processing, income reconciliation and the smooth running of fundraising operations behind the scenes.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Enjoy working in a busy and varied administrative role
- Have experience using databases or CRM systems
- Take pride in accuracy and attention to detail
- Have excellent customer service or supporter care skills
- Are confident managing multiple priorities at once
- Enjoy working collaboratively and finding solutions to problems
Fundraising experience would be welcome, but it isn't essential. We're just as interested in speaking with people who have developed transferable skills in administration, customer service, membership organisations, sales support or similar environments.
Why Amref?
Amref Health Africa is the largest African-led health organisation working to strengthen health systems and improve healthcare access across the continent.
Joining the team means becoming part of an organisation that is ambitious, values-driven and committed to creating lasting change. You'll work alongside passionate colleagues who genuinely care about the impact of their work, while having opportunities to learn, develop and grow your own career.
If you're someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, values great supporter experiences and wants your work to contribute towards something bigger, we'd love to hear from you.
If this sounds like you, then please reach out to Abi Blank to have an informal discussion or send CV to abi@charitypeople.co.uk
Closing date is Tuesday 17th November at 9am.
