Main purpose of the post
Derian House Children’s Hospice cares for babies, children and young people whose lives are too short, helping them to make the most of every moment with their families.
We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and experienced Major Donors and Philanthropy Partnerships Manager who will develop and implement a new fundraising strategy for Derian House to inspire and support major donors, including corporates and wealthy individuals.
Community fundraising has been the heart of Derian’s fundraising strategy for many years, with the charity holding a special place in the heart of its community. Now we are in a period of growth where we want to expand the number of children and families we can care for. Pivotal to this is the upwards trajectory of our fundraising, including a new focus on major donors.

You will be an exceptional and eloquent communicator, and a natural relationship builder, and will use these stills to input into the pipeline, manage and monitor performance against agreed budgets and deliver against the annual business plan for the charity. You will work alongside a high-performing and supportive fundraising team ready for its next exciting growth phase.
